Tomorrow is the official unveiling of the new Nikon Z Mount full frame Mirrorless camera. (Here is the Official Page)
Reportedly the camera will come in two versions, one with a 24MP sensor for on the move, editorial and documentary style photography and a second version featuring a 45MP sensor for high resolution imaging which would appeal more to landscape and commercial photographers. I’m interested in the 24MP camera which compliments my shooting style and Df while Christy will use the 45 MP version to compliment her style and D850.
We want to put the new Nikon mirrorless bodies to use and test them in real life environments. With our vast collection of Nikkor and Zeiss ZF.2 glass, we are very anxious to see how well these lenses perform with the new Nikon F to Z adaptor.
Hmmm, ZF.2 and F to Z … I wonder if I’m the only one who notices this?
It’s a very exciting time to be a photographer with so many outstanding image making tools to choose from! We are in the process of finalizing another very exciting “Photography and Exploration Around the World Adventure” so the two of us are hopefull that we will have these cameras in hand before we leave.
